Established in 1927, Duggans is a third-generation family business that has grown from a transport company into a leading provider of quarry, concrete, earthworks, precast concrete, and civil works services across Southern Tasmania. We value our employees and customers, and we strive to maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with both.

Our founder, Harry Duggan, began the business with a single truck, and today, Duggans is Tasmania's premier manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete. In the late 70s, Duggans acquired a concrete batch plant and began supplying the local market with quality premixed concrete. We later expanded our operations to include the production of quality concrete aggregates, crushed rock, and base course products. Our onsite quarry, which is award-winning and ISO 9001 accredited, has supplied many major road projects in Tasmania with high-quality materials.

Our strategic plan integrates our quarry, batching plant, precast factory, and civil/earthworks department, with support from our workshop and administration.
