At Pilbara Community Legal Service (PCLS), we believe that everyone deserves access to justice, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our Services

Our holistic approach to service delivery means that we offer a wide range of services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients. These services include financial counselling, legal services, tenant advice and education, housing support, domestic violence advocacy and victim support, community migrant service, indigenous advancement outreach program, and more. Our team of experienced professionals works closely with clients to provide tailored solutions that address their unique challenges and needs.

Our Approach

We take a proactive approach to service delivery, focusing on early intervention and prevention to prevent problems from escalating. Our team provides information, referral, and advice to clients early on, empowering them to take control of their lives and make informed decisions. We also provide intensive services such as casework, advocacy, court representation, and community education to those who need it most.

Our Objectives

Our objectives are twofold. Firstly, we aim to promote, protect, and enhance the rights and interests of individuals, groups, and organisations within the Pilbara region who are disadvantaged in their access to justice. Secondly, we strive to contribute to reform of laws and structural inequities to achieve human, fair, and equitable outcomes.

Our Commitment

At PCLS, we are committed to providing accessible, equitable, responsible, and culturally appropriate advice, support, advocacy, and counselling to the people of the Pilbara. We recognise the traditional owners of the lands across the Pilbara region and pay deep respect to Elders both past and present.
