The reviews for this RSL vary greatly, with some patrons expressing disappointment and frustration, while others praise the staff, food, and atmosphere.
Dissatisfaction
Several reviewers expressed discontent with their dining experience. FallenAngel gave the RSL 3 stars, citing rude service, poor food quality, and a lack of care from staff when informed of their complaints. Justin Messina was even more critical, awarding the RSL 1 star for receiving cold, pre-warmed meals and feeling that the quality had been compromised. Richard Finch was disappointed with the limited gluten-free options and the absence of garlic in his meal. Ian McPherson appreciated the welcoming staff but found the new menu to be a letdown, particularly the removal of traditional dishes.
Praise
On the other hand, many reviewers were very satisfied with their experiences. Paul Mcintosh awarded 5 stars, praising the helpful staff, particularly Graeme, and the ease of using technology. Carol Maher was proud of the RSL's management of the new COVID rules, giving them 5 stars. Andy Michelis and Philip Stranieri Lucky both awarded 5 stars, complimenting the excellent meals, drinks, and overall atmosphere. Deby Cunningham gave 4 stars, enjoying the nice meals, fast service, and easy social distancing in the large dining area.
