We supply welding equipment, tools, and consumables to the home handyman as well as to large industries involved in fabrication, construction, manufacturing, earthmoving, mining, and pipeline construction.
Our Story
State of the Arc Welding Supplies was established in 1994 by Greg and Michelle, who came from an engineering and accounting background, respectively. The business originated from sales being carried out from the back of a van and from a small home office. Despite the initial challenges, the business grew, and in 1998, we opened a small workshop/office in Capalaba to cater to the increasing stock needs and demanding market.
Over the years, we have continued to grow and expand, moving to a larger premises in 2009 and employing more staff to run day-to-day operations. Our commitment to high-quality service and our dedication to striving and improving have secured many major dealerships with well-known suppliers such as Lincoln, Cigweld, WIA, Harris, Miller Unimig, Eutectic, Cobramatic USA, Fronius, Metabo Power Tools, and more.
