Review: Awful experience in ED. Left for hours without pain relief. Attended to by very junior dr who failed to keep me informed regarding test results etc. left on trolley with no means to ask for assistance. St John ambulance are very keen to dump patients here so they can offload quickly. They tell you that you only have one out of pocket expense to see the dr but after you get here, you discover that you will also receive bills for radiology etc.
Don't come here, terrible care and poor communication. A consultant dr that I didn't even see has name on the radiology document as a referring dr. How does that work? Did he charge for a service that he didn't provide? This department needs thorough investigation.

Review: I have been in hollywood private at least 5 times in the last 12-18months. Being a dva gold card i have always been given a private room but the latest overnight visit 5/1/22 & getting a shared room due to hospital closing 2 orthopaedic wards due to leave requirements. 2 guys competing on the snoring & some pump making noise every 10 seconds & nothing being done. Very poor management

Review: Hubby had a shoulder op last year. The experience was fantastic - all you could hope for when you are in a huge amount of pain. The surgeon was great, the staff were friendly and professional. As much as I would recommend the hospital - I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon :

Review: Pre op areas are dirty and have nothing to do (no tv, radio ect). When your surgery gets pushed back and your stuck on a bed with a curtain for 10 hours you really kind of get over it for the price they charge. And as for after care when you haven't eaten all day and ask what they can do for you after surgery and all they can give you is a old sandwich as it's past the dinner time cut off is once again poor for the amount of money they extort. Not mentioning other issues I had. Not impressed Ramsey and you should pull ya socks up. Can't wait for or local hospital to go back to public. Your reputation exceeds you

Review: Hollywood by name but not service. Told by doctors/surgeon to go back to GP for further investigation of what was causing issue. Basic level of care at best. St John of God ED vastly superior in every area.

Review: Nursing staff at the hospital and especially at the Gordon ward were fabulous. Friendly and professional. A special mention for Kristina who was friendly and professional in every way. To add. Not trying to be funny and everyone has a right to their opinion, but the people with the negative comments, I suspect there is exaggeration going on. Perhaps you should go to a State hospital if you want to complain.

Review: Nice hospital, very organised, professional and friendly staff. Ive had 3 operations here and much the same experience on all occasions. The food is good for a hospital, and the stay over rooms are more than adequate.

Review: Im not one to use this to rate experiences, more to read other peoples views, but after attending Hollywood Endoscopy Suite, I'm sharing my own views. From the friendly helpful receptionists, (both the surgeon and clinics) to the warm caring nurses, to the smiley orderly, to the understanding reassuring anaesthetist, to the friendly assistant/nurse in theatre, to meeting Dr Micheal Bray with his easy going warmth and friendliness, my experience was five star!
The recovery lounge and attentiveness afterwards was so well coordinated and pleasurable too. Being my first time I feel very fortunate to have encountered such warm caring professionals and they are a huge credit to themselves and the hospital. Thank you again.

Review: The medical facilities and doctors are great, the infrastructure such as available parking is pathetic. As an example, it took me 30 minutes sitting in a queue on a Active road to merely drive up to a ticket machine. You then need to hope and pray somebody leaves the carpark within the hour so you can enter. After that you might need to re-mortage the house to pay the parking fee
