At Shuzoku Martial Arts, we are a family-friendly martial arts school dedicated to providing high-quality karate programs for individuals of all ages. Our mission is to help our students develop physically, mentally, and emotionally through the principles of karate. Our instructors, led by Sensei Tom McMahon, are dedicated traditional martial artists with a wealth of experience and knowledge in teaching karate.
Our History
Sensei Tom McMahon, our chief instructor, has been involved in martial arts since 1986, training in Kyokushin Karate under Shihan Eddie Emin. Sensei Tom's past working experience in the security industry and Victoria Police has enabled him to develop a reality-based martial arts system that incorporates practical self-defense skills. This approach has been incorporated into our karate programs, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded education in karate.
Our Programs
We offer a range of karate programs for children and adults, designed to improve fitness, discipline, self-defense skills, and overall well-being. Our programs include:
- Little Ninjas Karate for 3-4 year olds
- Karate for Children aged 5-12
- Karate for Teens and Adults aged 13+
- Group Fitness Classes and Personal Training Sessions
