Environment

At McRyan, we take our environmental responsibility seriously. The increased use of water-based acrylic paints has been a big leap forward from traditional oil-based enamel paint. We have Enviro Painting Practices Certification using low to zero VOC paints, which means that when they are dry, they are dry!

Many period homes hide a range of environmental issues, probably the most common being the existence of lead-based paints. The potential health hazards of lead-based paints are well documented, and McRyan is fully accredited in Lead Based Paint Removal. We use environmentally friendly practices to reduce the environmental impact of the painting and decorating trade.
