Creating lasting memories, one bouquet at a time
For over two centuries, agriculture has been a vital part of the region's life and growth. The pursuit of excellence has always been a primary goal, and the desire to create competitions and expositions to promote that objective has been evident in the area since the early 1850s. The Bathurst Agricultural, Horticultural & Pastoral Association and its predecessors have been dedicated to the development of our rural life and industry since 1858. As with rural life throughout history, we have faced our share of challenges, but the BAH&PA, through its governing body, the Show Council, remains steadfast in our commitment to our objectives, traditions, and the pursuit of excellence.
The Bathurst AH & P Association is a charitable, not-for-profit, community member-based organisation that conducts the Royal Bathurst Show, regular produce and artisan markets, supplementary competitive events, training, workshops, networking, and social activities. Our aim is to foster and promote agricultural activities, horticulture, and all aspects of rural and country life in the Bathurst area. We are proud of our long history of promoting and celebrating rural life and strive to continue this tradition through our events and activities.
