At Mackay Tennis, we take pride in providing a comprehensive range of tennis-related services, including court and venue hire, coaching, social tennis, fixtures, and competitive league games. Our well-maintained facility, located at 125 Kippen Street, is just a stone's throw away from Harrup Park Country Club and a short 5-minute drive from Mackay CBD. With a large carpark, shade structures, and a welcoming clubhouse with new kitchen facilities, our venue is easily accessible, spacious, and comfortable for all our members and visitors.

At Mackay Tennis, we offer 13 rebound Synpave courts, all fully lit with 8 LED lighting courts ensuring uninterrupted and enjoyable play even during the evenings. Our clubhouse is equipped with a bar, canteen, and kitchen facilities catering to the needs of our patrons throughout the fixture and tournaments. Additionally, our venue provides clean and accessible toilet and shower facilities, inclusive of disabled access, ensuring a positive and hassle-free experience for everyone. We also offer venue hire for various events and gatherings with a PA system available, providing you with a convenient and flexible space for your next function.
Social Tennis - Meet, Greet, and Compete
Our tennis centre hosts social tennis sessions every week, open to all ages and skill sets. These sessions serve as a perfect platform for you to meet like-minded individuals and engage in friendly matches on our pristine tennis courts. Unlike fixtures or competitive league games, social tennis does not require any commitments, registration, or grading. Simply drop-in and enjoy a casual game of tennis, followed by a warm beverage and interesting conversations.
Tennis Coaching - Transform Your Game
Mackay Tennis provides expert coaching sessions tailored to suit your needs, whether you're a beginner or an advanced player. Our certified coaching staff offers individual and group lessons incorporating the latest techniques in the sport. For junior players, we have partnered with Rogers Tennis Academy, providing comprehensive squad training designed to foster the skills and knowledge of young players. Our coaching programs, including junior fixtures, are run throughout the school terms and consist of two seasons, each approximately 20 weeks.
Fixtures and Leagues - Competitive Play at Its Finest
Our tennis centre facilitates a wide array of regular fixtures for various age groups and skill levels, including:
- Tuesday Ladies: 9 AM - 11:30 AM (90-minute sessions, 3 sets of doubles, grading and teams selected, and morning tea)
- Wednesday Nights: 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM (3 sets of doubles, mixed divisions, food and bar available onsite, and grading/teams selected)
