Our focus is on creating high-quality picture frames, using conservation grade materials and custom finishes. We understand the importance of preserving artworks for future generations, and our conservation framing methods reflect this ethos. We also offer cleaning, restoration and repair services for old or broken picture frames, ensuring that your cherished art pieces remain in the best possible condition.
Moreover, our team is experienced in stretching and re-stretching painted canvases, providing a second life to your beloved art pieces. We are always happy to share our knowledge and offer advice on basic art conservation, and for more complex problems, we can recommend specialist conservators, art installers and couriers.

In today's fast-paced world, we understand that time can often be a luxury. That's why Black Parrot Art Room offers a home collection, delivery and hanging service for your convenience. Our team will come to you, quote for framing in situ, collect your work, deliver your completed art pieces and even hang them for you. This service is not only convenient for our busy customers, but also ensures the safe handling and transportation of precious art works.
Visit Us
We invite you to visit our art space, where creativity meets craftsmanship, and where art lovers and artists connect. Our shop is located at Unit 6/227 Old Hume Highway, Mittagong, NSW, and is open Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and Saturday, 11am - 1pm. We are a little tucked away, so please don't hesitate to call if you need assistance finding us. We are part of the Hume Court industrial complex, located down the Old Hume Highway from Mittagong centre, past Big W, Woollies and Officeworks, on the right-hand side of the road if you are travelling towards Welby. We are in the same complex as Neeny's Playhouse and the Repco Service Centre.
