At Garfield Childcare, Preschool & OOSH, we are dedicated to providing a caring and quality early education experience for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old, as well as an OOSH and Vacation care program for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Our privately-owned childcare centre in Wentworthville, NSW, operates between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, to cater to the needs of working families who prefer a preschool environment for their child's early education and care.
Our Centre
Our centre comprises of five specifically designed and resourced rooms to suit the needs of different age groups. We have a particular focus on life skills development and school transition programs in our 3 to 6 years rooms. Our team of educators, led by four full-time University-trained Early Childhood Teachers (ECT's), guide our curriculum and mentor fellow educators to provide a high standard of preschool education. We are licensed by the Department of Education and Care and are a registered member of the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support families, including:
- Long Day Preschool programs for children aged 3 to 6 years old
- Outside of School Hours (OOSH) program for children aged 5 to 12 years old, with pickup and drop-off services for children attending Wentworthville Public and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Schools
- Vacation Care program during NSW school holiday periods for children in our OOSH and Pre-k rooms
- A nutritious and healthy menu prepared by our in-house chef
- A safe and secure environment with CCTV cameras and secure entry and exit systems

Our centre was established by Sri and Malathy Srianandarajah, who are passionate about providing a high-quality early education experience for children. Our management team, led by Vini, our Nominated Supervisor/Centre Manager, has a wealth of experience in early childhood education and care. We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our centre.
