The Kumo Venue
Kumo occupies an exquisite minimalist architectural space that was once a mid-century bank. Our venue offers a range of seating options, including a tatami room, bar, share tables, booths, and an outdoor courtyard. We are located at 183 Weston St, Brunswick East VIC 3057, and we have off-street parking available or $10 parking at Tip Top Car Park. If you're using public transport, you can take the tram number 1 or 8 and stop at 122.
Booking Information
For groups of 8 or more, we offer Omakase set menus that you can view under the 'Menu' section. When booking online, please use the special requests feature to communicate any needs or preferences, including dietary requirements. If you require a pram space or a high chair, please let us know. Our booths accommodate up to 6 guests and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend booking early if you prefer a booth.
Families Welcome
At Kumo, we welcome families and encourage you to let us know if your group includes babies or children. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and provide pram space or high chairs as required.
Seating Choices
While most seating areas in our restaurant can be selected during the online booking process, our exclusive booths are an exception due to their high demand. Please note that our booths accommodate up to 6 guests and will be prioritised accordingly.
Private Dining
Our tatami room seats 12 people and comes paired with a special set menu, expertly curated by our chefs. It's the perfect space for private dining and special occasions.
Outdoor Dining
Our outdoor patio is heated in winter and provides a unique dining experience in Brunswick. Feel the buzz of the city from our outdoor patio as you knock back a few cocktails and savour our exquisite menu with friends.
