At Liz Sykes Counselling & Clinical Supervision, we're dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to explore their challenges and work towards positive change. Our experienced Principal Practitioner, Liz Sykes, has over 16 years of experience in counselling, clinical supervision, and consulting, with a strong background in education, community services, and the mental health sector.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support individuals, couples, and families in achieving their mental health and wellbeing goals. Our counselling services cater to a diverse range of needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and personal growth. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential counselling services to employees, as well as critical incident response, debriefing, training, and consulting services to organisations.

In addition to our counselling services, we also provide Clinical Supervision for counsellors, social workers, mental health professionals, and allied health practitioners. Our Professional Supervision and Management Support services are designed to support organisations and professionals in achieving their goals and improving their practice.

Our Experience

Liz Sykes has a strong background in education, community services, and the mental health sector, with experience working in roles including Counsellor, Group Facilitator, Trainer, and Consultant. She has worked with a range of organisations, including the Education Department, Lifeline Tasmania, Relationships Australia Tasmania, and Presbyterian Care Tasmania.
