At Studio Two Architecture, we are passionate about improving the built environment of the New England region - from the Hunter Valley through to Moree. Our team includes Project Architects, Architectural technicians, Building and Landscape designers, as well as a range of consultants who bring passion and commitment to the built environment and our region as a whole.

Our Story

Founded by Nicholas Brown, a graduate of the University of NSW, our practice has been providing professional architectural services for over 23 years. Nicholas has worked on a diverse range of projects, from large commercial projects to specialist education, health facilities, and residential projects. He is passionate about adaptive reuse of heritage structures, sustainable technologies, and creating beautiful spaces for people to enjoy. Angela Brown, a graphic designer turned landscape designer, works alongside Nicholas on a range of projects, bringing her love of the Australian natural environment and expertise in native plants to create outdoor spaces that blend seamlessly with their surroundings.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of professional services, including design services from concepts to developed designs, documentation for building approval, and heritage advice. Our design services include master planning, feasibility studies, architectural design, environmentally sustainable design, site analysis, and landscaping design services. We also provide documentation for relevant authorities, including measured drawings of existing buildings, development application and construction certificate documentation, working drawings, plans, elevations, and building specifications.

Our heritage advice services help clients navigate the complexities of heritage places, including heritage impact statements, design services for adaptive reuse of heritage structures, restoration, and preservation advice. We also offer additional services, including computer-aided drafting, project brief development, liaison with council or authorities, preparation of BASIX certificates, site inspections, project completion evaluations, design for bushfire-prone areas, calling of tenders, coordination of consultants, contract administration, and disability access advice.
