Our Team

Our team at Midwest Optical is led by Principal Optometrist, Scott Dennett, who has over 30 years of experience and holds a Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics. Scott specializes in contact lenses, low vision, and eye disease management. He founded Midwest Optical with his wife Narelle in 1998 and is a proud parent to two adult sons, Zac and Ryan. In his downtime, Scott enjoys pursuing his love for triathlons and the outdoors.

Fiona Sweetman, our Optical Consultant, brings her warmth, professionalism, and dedication to serving patients' eyewear needs. Martess Vallejo, another Optical Consultant, is known for her extensive knowledge of eyewear and her commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Tess Gurski-Howell, an experienced Dispensing Optician, is proficient in frame selection, adjustment, and repair. Hannah Golding, our newest team member, works as an Optical Assistant, bringing her positivity, organizational skills, and a passion for helping people.

The Eye Test
