Established in Queensland in 1989, DPA Architects' philosophy is based on offering practical, innovative design solutions particular to each site and project where client participation plays an integral part in the design process. Development solutions addressing areas of environmental issues, planning, concept design, design development, interior design, finishes and materials, documentation, and contract administration are provided - a comprehensive architectural service. We develop and design appropriate building forms to achieve user acceptability and marketability with a distinctive architectural statement in response to regional locations.
Our Practice
DPA Architects believes in having an appropriate response attitude to client brief requirements, end-user, and regional site requirements that address the clients' and the regional location's needs. During the past 19 years, DPA Architects has provided professional services in planning and design over a diverse range of projects consisting of resorts, aquatic centers, office buildings, University Buildings, commercial retail, conference facilities, wineries, and recreational facilities. In recent years, our experience has been focused on multi-unit residential and single residential design, together with commercial and retail, completing local projects here on the Gold Coast, Cairns, and Port Douglas. The office utilizes CAD workstations with experienced operators to provide efficient design development interface with consultants and optimizes the construction documentation phase.
