Nestled in the heart of Highfields, just 10km north of Toowoomba and easily accessible off the New England Highway, you will find the peaceful and picturesque Homewood Cottages. Our cottages are situated on the border of Davidson's Arboretum, a stunning 1-hectare parkland filled with a variety of beautiful autumn trees. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend getaway, a relaxing midweek break, or long-term accommodation, Homewood Cottages offers a tranquil ambience for all occasions. We are proud to offer free Wi-Fi to all our guests, and both cottages are pet-friendly, with Forest Cottage also offering wheelchair accessibility for guests with reduced mobility.

Our Cottages

At Homewood Cottages, we offer two distinct styles of accommodation to suit your needs:

• Oak Cottage: This charming one-bedroom cottage boasts polished recycled timbers, a queen-size brass bed, spa bath, fireplace heating, and covered car parking. The fully self-contained kitchen, private living area, and front veranda overlooking established gardens and Davidson Arboretum make it an ideal choice for couples seeking a peaceful retreat. Oak Cottage is pet-friendly, and all linen is supplied.
• Forest Cottage: Our English-style, white double-brick cottage features two king-size bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open fireplace, and covered car parking. Each bedroom has French doors that open onto their own private courtyard, surrounded by trees and terraced gardens. The well-appointed kitchen facilities, living area with comfortable furnishings, and disabled facilities make Forest Cottage perfect for families or groups. Like Oak Cottage, Forest Cottage is pet-friendly, and all linen is supplied.

The adjoining Arboretum is perfect for garden weddings, featuring a beautiful avenue and pathways lined with flowering bulbs and deciduous trees. • Oak Cottage: 1 Bedroom Overnight $185.00 per night, Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs $220.00 per night, Fri/Sat/Sun. One night stays available, Mid Week Special $175.00 per night, Min 3 night stay, Weekly $165.00 per night, Min 7 night stay, Longer Stay Longer stays welcome - price on request. Rates based on 2 people. Extra $30.00 per adult, $15.00 per child per night. Fold out bed available on request. All linen supplied. Pet Friendly $45 per stay (Policies).
• Forest Cottage: 2 Bedroom & Pet Friendly Overnight $195.00 per night, Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs $240.00 per night, Fri/Sat/Sun. One night stays available, Mid Week Special $185.00 per night, Min 3 night stay, Weekly $175.00 per night, Min 7 night stay, Longer Stay Longer stays welcome - price on request.
