At Aquasonic Leak Detection, we're a small family-owned and operated plumbing business based in Perth, specialising in leak detection and the repair of burst water pipes. Our story began in the early 1990s, when Brett Keegan, our founder, established the original Keegan Plumbing business, focusing on general maintenance. Over the years, we've evolved to specialise in electronic water leak detection, earning us the reputation as one of Perth's leading and most respected operators.

Our History

Our family has been "working with water" since 1933, when Brett's grandfather, Bill, began installing windmills and bores in the goldfields and later commenced his own business, W J Keegan & Co. as an irrigation engineer in 1941. Bill went on to install the original fully automatic reticulation system at the Karrinyup golf course in the mid-1960s. Brett's father, Geoff, a well-respected retired licensed plumber and past member of the Master Plumbers Association, spent almost 40 years in the trade, providing quality service to new housing developments and later focusing on maintenance, where he purchased a leak detection unit, laying the groundwork for our current business.

Our Mission

At Aquasonic Leak Detection, our aim is to provide a quality service to our clients at all times. Water is our most precious resource, and we strive to do our part in preserving it. We use specialized leak detection equipment to electronically locate burst water pipes, and as fully licensed plumbers, we repair them to the highest standards. We can also assist with any insurance claims relating to a burst pipe or leak. In addition to our leak detection services, we offer general plumbing services, including repairing and replacing taps, toilets, basins, baths, water heaters, and clearing blocked drains.
