Scam Alert: A Review of Johnny's Furniture
It seems that Johnny's Furniture has a reputation for being a scammer. All the reviews are overwhelmingly negative, with one-star ratings from multiple authors. The common theme among these reviews is that the company fails to deliver on their promises, engages in poor customer service, and refuses to provide refunds.
One reviewer, Jehad Muhaidat, paid a deposit of $1700 for a couch and after a 9-month delay, the company went into liquidation, leaving him with no couch and no refund. Praveen Param experienced a similar issue, paying $1500 for a lounge suite and only receiving a refund after requesting one and having to purchase from another company. Harry Tucker's family was ripped off for $1500 for a table, with the company constantly pushing out the delivery date and refusing to refund.
Kashif Ali had a terrible experience with the quality of the sofa he received, which was of poor quality and emitted a plasticky sound when sat on. The delivery was also a mess, and the customer service was non-existent. Me and Shelley Cromb both had issues with non-delivery and no response from the company, and Serena was left waiting for a refund that never came.
