Welcome to Lorraine Jones & Associates, a reputable legal practice that has been serving the Melbourne community since 1880. Our firm has a rich history, having started as Seton Gordon Williams and evolving into Seton Williams & Heathfield, Seton Williams & Smyth, and eventually Lorraine Jones & Associates in 1996. We have incorporated the practice of Brian Weyman & Co. in 2008, further expanding our services and expertise. Our long-standing tradition of delivering quality legal services has made us a trusted name in the Eltham and Diamond Valley areas. We have associate lawyers at Baker Jones at 160 Queen Street, Melbourne, enabling us to provide a broader range of advice and experience to our valued clients.

Our Team

Our team of expert lawyers and paralegals has many decades of experience, and we have the right experts in-house to handle even the most complex legal requirements. Our team includes Dean Eastwood Jones, our Director, who completed his Law Degree at Melbourne University in 1889 and has since gained extensive experience in commercial litigation, debt recovery, insolvency law, and general commercial litigation.

Lorraine Jones, our Special Counsel, has a lifelong love of the law and began her legal career as a junior law clerk with J. Allan Anderson & Son, Melbourne, in 1957. James Burke, our Associate, completed his law degree at La Trobe University and has since honed his skills in property law and Wills and estates. He leads the property law team at Lorraine Jones & Associates and is an essential part of the Wills and estates team.

Chrys Chrysostomou, our Associate, holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from La Trobe University and is admitted to practice in Victoria. He has experience in a broad range of legal areas and has a strong commitment to helping clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our family law team includes Aleise Johnson, a Lawyer who holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and has prior experience in property law, Wills and deceased estates. Rifqa Diedericks, another Lawyer in our Wills & Estates team, joined us after gaining valuable experience in country Victoria and other suburban law firms. She holds a law degree from La Trobe University and a business degree from Monash University.
