Our Story

Craig Holmes was born in Brisbane in 1956 and began working in the newspaper darkroom, Courier Mail in 1972. He opened an advertising and commercial photographic studio in the early 1980s and has been the recipient of numerous national awards for professional practice. Throughout his career, Craig has produced self-initiated social documentary projects, working on topics such as Indigenous Australians, Ashtons Circus, and others. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, and his photographs have been collected by: Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris, National Gallery of Australia, and other national and state institutions.
