Erskineville Doctors has been a trusted and respected part of the local community since 1985, providing exceptional healthcare to patients of all ages and walks of life. Our dedicated team of General Practitioners, nurses, and staff are committed to delivering the best possible care for you and your family.

Erskineville Doctors has been owned by Dr Jenny Lonergan and Dr Annabel Kain since 2015, and has a long-standing history in the Erskineville community. In 2019, we moved to larger premises to accommodate the growing population in the area and continue to provide our patients with the high-quality care they have come to expect from us.

Our Team

Our Practice Nurses play a vital role in coordinating vaccination services and providing continuity of care for our patients, particularly those with complex or chronic medical conditions. Our Administration Staff, including our receptionists and practice manager, are dedicated to providing confidential and courteous assistance to our patients.

Important Information

• Blood Tests: We send our pathology specimens to Douglas Hanly Moir pathology, but we do not have a pathology collection service on-site. You can take your pathology form to any of the DHM collection centres on the back of the form, or listed here DHM. The closest to the practice are at 375 King St, Newtown, and 21 Fountain St, Alexandria. You can also take a pathology form to any other pathology company.
• Results: We can give the best care to our patients by following up results of any investigations by discussing them with you in person. At the end of your consultation your doctor will let you know when to make a follow up appointment when your results will be available. If we receive a result that needs urgent attention we will contact you via phone.
• Preventing Infection: If you are concerned that your symptoms indicate a potentially infectious disease, please let our reception staff know when you call. We may be able to see you at a time when then are fewer patients in the waiting room. Alcohol hand-rub and disposable face-masks are available at reception.
• State/National Health Registers: Erskineville Doctors participates in the following national health registers: Australian Immunisation Register and National Cervical Screening Program Register. You will receive reminder notices from these organisations for overdue childhood immunisations or cervical screening tests. NSW Health has also developed a Save the Date Cards service for cervical screening reminders.

We are AGPAL accredited, a member of the RACGP, and an accessible medical practice. We also participate in the Close the Gap and ACON service animal programs.
