Good Service from Kilby's
Some customers have had positive experiences with Kilby's, praising their efficient and reliable service. Michael Miller gave Kilby's 5 stars for installing a new Kemlan combustion heater in his home, stating that the job was done neatly and on time with reasonable rates. Isabelle Mark also rated Kilby's 5 stars for their prompt and professional response to fixing her Dometic fridge.
Poor Service and Unreasonable Prices
However, some customers have had disappointing experiences with Kilby's. Ish Ismail gave Kilby's 1 star after being told that someone would come out to advise on a new fireplace, but was left waiting for over two weeks with no response. Muriel Sultana also gave Kilby's 1 star, stating that the service was bad and the prices were too high.
Damaged Goods and No Responsibility
Halid Halil had a particularly negative experience with Kilby's, taking his new 12-volt fridge to their Cowra store for a regassing. The fridge was damaged while in their possession, and Kilby's took no responsibility for the damage. Halid had to pay for the time they spent working on the fridge and pick it up in worse condition than when he left it.
Unreliability
Kerry Beasley had a positive experience with Kilby's, but noted that her mother has been dealing with them for many years, including annual chimney and safety checks.
