Street Dance Studios

Street Dance Studios is one of Australia's leading hip-hop dance studios, located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Since our establishment in 2012, we have been committed to providing a tight-knit community full of joy, smiles, and a passion for dance. Our studio is run by the elite crew 'Superhoodz', who are known for their energetic and engaging shows, as well as their appearances on Australia's Got Talent and as the dancers for the NBL Melbourne United.

Our Teachers

At Street Dance Studios, we are proud to say that all of our teachers are members of the Superhoodz crew. Our team of experienced and enthusiastic teachers includes:

• Kat, Co-Director and Founder of SDS, who is one of Australia's leading female dancers and has trained and worked as a professional dancer in LA.
• Troy, Kat's brother and Co-founder/Director of SDS, who claims to be the brains behind Kat's talent.
• Steph, our cheerful receptionist and SDS Events Manager, who leads our Monday Level 1 Adults Hip Hop, 6-8yrs on Wednesdays, and Tiny Tots classes on Thursday and Saturdays.
• Daniel, our in-house Bboy extraordinaire, who takes charge of SDS and Superhoodz, bringing the rhythm and energy to breakdancing.
• Paige, the creative mind behind Jnrhoodz crew, who leads our Teen/Adult class every Monday.
• Estelle, who leads the Teen/Adult Level 2 Hip Hop class and brings the sass in "Sass In Heels" every Thursday.
• Jack, who is stepping up and gearing up to take SDS Community Crew to new heights.
• Morgan, a Superhoodz dancer, who is geared up to elevate Varsity Hoodz crew to new heights.
• Chloe, one of our top female B-girls, who teaches 6-8yrs and 9-12yrs Break Dancing every Thursday.
• Tahlia, a member of Superhoodz, who leads our Level 1 9-12yrs Hip Hop class.
• Alyssa, a member of All Star Hoodz, who takes charge of the 6-8s and 9-12yrs classes every Saturday morning.
• Ahliya, who leads our 6-8yrs class on Tuesdays, guaranteed to be a blast.
• Fraser, who leads our All Styles/Freestyle class every Wednesday, where you can master freestyle moves like waving and tutting.

Our Services

At Street Dance Studios, we offer a range of services for all ages and levels, including:

• Hip-hop and breakdancing classes: We have classes running for all levels from beginners to advanced. All ages are welcome, and our classes are casual with a fun and welcoming vibe.
• Birthday parties: What better way to celebrate a birthday than inside a hip-hop studio? Let us host your kids' birthday with games, giveaways, and of course, some dancing!
• School programs: We've designed and choreographed a specific dance program, perfect for schools. We'd love to come down and boogie at your school.
• Hall hire: Need space to practice dancing or hold a meeting/function? Hire our space at a super inexpensive hourly rate!
