Welcome to the Victory Hotel, a historic restaurant and pub located in Sellicks Hill, South Australia. Established in 1858, the Victory Hotel has been a staple in the local community for over 160 years, offering an extensive menu of fresh, locally sourced produce and an outstanding wine cellar with a vast array of local, Australian, and international wines.
The Victory Hotel is situated in a stunning location, overlooking Sellicks Beach, Aldinga Bay, and the Fleurieu districts. With friendly staff, sensational food, and a welcoming atmosphere, the Victory Hotel is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends.
Restaurant Dining
The Victory Hotel's restaurant offers a fabulous venue for group bookings, with a menu that showcases the best of the local coastal and country areas. For groups of 17 adults or over, we offer a Function Menu, which is a reduced two or three course menu. This menu is to be discussed and prearranged with our functions manager, then guests order from the selected reduced menu on the day/night.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with lunch service from 11.45am and dinner service from 5.45pm. Bookings are advised, so please call ahead to avoid disappointment. The restaurant seats 75 people in the dining room, 32 people in the cellar, and 50 outside in the undercover patio area. The outside patio area has fully enclosing cafe blinds for when needed, as well as gas heating for the cooler months and fans for the warmer months.
The Victory Hotel is fully licensed and allows BYO with a corkage fee of $20-00 per bottle. You are welcome to contact us if you would like us to decant your selected wine prior to your occasion.
Front Bar & Bottle Shop
The Front Bar at the Victory Hotel offers a more casual dining experience, with a "pub" menu and an extensive range of local and international beers. The Bottle Shop offers a wide selection of wines, spirits, and beers, perfect for take-away or for enjoying in the Front Bar.
Wine Cellar
The Victory Hotel is renowned for its outstanding wine cellar, with a focus on the McLaren Vale region and additional wines from other South Australian regions, all other states, and the very best from overseas. Our wine list is carefully curated to offer a range of styles, prices, and regions, and our staff are happy to assist with recommendations.

Our Function Menu is available for groups of 17 adults or over and offers a reduced two or three course menu. We can also accommodate special requests and dietary requirements. Rudderless Vineyard
The Victory Hotel is the home of Rudderless Vineyard, a small-batch winery that focuses on quality over quantity. Our wines are handcrafted in limited quantities, using traditional methods and locally sourced grapes. We are proud to offer a selection of Rudderless wines in our restaurant and wine cellar.
Gift Cards
The Victory Hotel gift cards are an easy and convenient way to send a gift. Simply select the amount, enter the recipient's details, and we'll take care of the rest. Gift cards can be used for dining, functions, or wine purchases.
