Our Process

At Brett Harvey Designs, we understand that building a new home can be a complex and overwhelming experience. That's why we've developed a thorough and detailed approach to ensure that every client's needs are understood and met throughout every stage of the building process.

1. Floor Plan Design: The first step in our process is to design your home to your requirements, needs, and budget. Our experienced draftsperson will create a custom design that is both beautiful and practical.

2. Preliminary Pricing: Once your plan has been designed, our team will present you with a preliminary costing and tender. This includes a detailed breakdown of the project, and we are committed to being upfront about project costings.

3. Selections Tour: This is the exciting part of the process, where you get to choose the materials and finishes for your new home. We offer the assistance of an interior design consultant to guide you through this process.

4. Contract + Plan Finalisation: The next step is to finalise your plan, which involves surveys, soil tests, and slab design. We will then prepare a building contract to be signed by both parties.

5. Council Approval: Once the plans are finalised, we will submit them to the local council and/or private certifier to obtain development and construction approvals.

6. Construction: Once approval is received, we start the construction process. Our innovative approach allows us to complete your home within approximately 18 weeks.
