Welcome to Bodhi Hair, a premiere hair salon located in the heart of Mona Vale. Our name, Bodhi, is derived from the Bodhi leaf or the Bodhi tree, under which Buddha sat and became enlightened. At Bodhi Hair, we strive to provide our clients with a sense of enlightenment through our exceptional hairdressing services, using the finest products and latest techniques to create outstanding hairstyles and colour results that leave your hair perfectly conditioned.

Our team of experienced stylists are dedicated to providing you with a personalised service, tailoring various techniques to create texture and movement that suits your individual hairstyle. We use only the highest quality products from renowned brands such as Paul Mitchell, Bamboo, Juuce, Moroccan Oil, Cloud 9, and Davines, ensuring that our clients have access to versatile looks in one haircut.

At Bodhi Hair, we pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest hair trends and techniques. We use Paul Mitchell and Tecna hair colour and products because we believe that colour changes everything. Our Tecna organic natural choice hair colours are a Soy Oil-based colouring system that creates perfect Ammonia-free hair colouring, eliminating any risks of respiratory allergies and minimising scalp sensitivity. We also use Great Lengths for our hair extensions and La Biosthetique Belavance for our make-up services.

Our Team

Our team of stylists and make-up artists are dedicated to providing you with an exceptional experience at Bodhi Hair.

• Nicola, our salon manager, grew up in a salon, working since she was 13 years old. She has worked in London where she trained in colouring techniques. She is also a make-up artist who has worked for Wella and Vidal Sassoon. Nicola's focuses are style cutting, colour correction, wedding styling, make-up, Great Lengths extensions, and complete personal styling.
• Mahtab, our senior stylist, has 20 years of experience in hair styling and colour with extensive experience in Bridal hair and make-up. Mahtab also has an extensive profile in cosmetic tattooing, joining Nicola as a senior stylist and associate in September 2022. Her focuses are in hair style cutting, blow drying, colour correction, wedding styling, and make-up.
• Jodie, our senior stylist, is an exceptionally experienced stylist with a career spanning over 30 years. She brings extensive knowledge in all areas of hair styling, cutting, and colour.
• Mia, our 1st year apprentice, is in her first year as an apprentice and already demonstrating great potential in her chosen career. A helpful and happy, Mia is a great addition to the Bodhi team.
• Marlie, our 4th year apprentice, has been trained in the latest hairstyles, industry trends, and techniques. She has a true panache with hair. Her lovely friendly nature will ensure you feel relaxed when you visit Bodhi.

Please note that all prices include GST. Prices may vary depending on the length of hair and the client's requests. Prices are subject to change without notice. All Tecna services incur a $10 fee increase. For an exact price or quote, come in for an obligation-free quote. We cannot guarantee continued outstanding colour results if you use unsuitable products or swim regularly. If you have any problems with your hair please contact us within 7 days of service.
