Where Your Child's Learning Journey Begins

At Peter Pan Pre-School, we are a community-based, not-for-profit centre that has been providing quality, affordable childcare for children aged 3 to 5 years old for over 60 years. Our centre is guided by a parent committee, offering a unique and supportive environment that fosters a sense of community among families.

Our Philosophy

We believe that children are unique individuals, and we encourage each child to reach their full potential in accordance with their individual ability. Our qualified, experienced, and dedicated staff help our children develop their intellectual and social skills in a warm, caring, and friendly environment. We implement a child-based program that gives children the opportunity to make choices and be active contributors to their own and other children's learning.

Our Services

We offer a range of services and programs that cater to the needs of our children and families. Our programs are based on the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and include indoor and outdoor play experiences, quiet and active times, individual, small, and large group activities, teacher, child, and parent-initiated activities and experiences, combined room and whole of centre special days and activities, and on-going projects.

Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:50pm during NSW public school terms. We maintain waiting lists and accept applications for enrolments throughout the year. If you're interested in registering your child, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Our Commitment

At Peter Pan Pre-School, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and inclusive environment that promotes each child's learning and development. We believe in building partnerships with families and respecting cultural diversity and differing values and beliefs. We encourage open communication with families through daily visual diaries, child portfolios, newsletters, information boards, questions, and feedback forms, information nights, and twilight picnics.

Our Educators

Our educators are trained and committed professionals who are vital components in providing a warm and friendly service for children and families. We provide opportunities for ongoing professional development and encourage educators to contribute their ideas and skills, participate in staff meetings, and engage in daily reflections.

Our Community

We view our preschool as part of a wider community and are committed to providing a valuable service for our families. We provide links to information and support services, recognise the importance of making connections with local organisations, and follow guidelines set by our governance body.
