NQ Vets Mobile is a mobile veterinary service based in Townsville, North Queensland. We understand the stresses and anxieties associated with veterinary visits, which is why we took the initiative to create a mobile veterinary service that takes away the need to transport your pet to a clinic.

Our Story

Our founder, Dr. Eden Faulkner, has a passion for animals and has always been driven by a desire to provide the best possible care for your beloved pets. With years of experience in small animal and mixed practices, Dr. Faulkner has developed a special interest in mobile veterinary work and preventative health care. She has also completed courses in small animal dentistry and equine dentistry, demonstrating her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

• Vaccinations: We offer a variety of vaccination options, including Canine C5 and Canine C3 for dogs, and F3 for cats. Our vaccination packages include a full health check, ensuring your pet receives the best possible care.
• Health Checks: Regular health checks are essential for maintaining your pet's overall health. Our health checks include a full physical examination, vaccination recommendations, intestinal worming, flea and tick prevention, nutrition, and weight management advice.
• Dermatology: We specialize in treating skin problems, including mites, seasonal allergic dermatitis, and other skin conditions. Our treatments often involve cryosurgery, which freezes skin lesions without the need for anesthesia or post-operative care.
• Blood Testing and Hyposensitization: We offer allergy testing for pollen, food, and other substances that can trigger allergic reactions. Once the problem is identified, we can develop a tailored plan to help your pet tolerate the offending allergen.
• Geriatric Management: As pets age, it's essential to monitor their health and take proactive steps to prevent age-related diseases. We recommend regular check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative measures like worming and good quality food.
• Lameness Exams: If your pet is experiencing discomfort or pain due to an underlying condition, our team will work with you to identify the issue and develop a treatment plan.
• Avian and Pocket Pet Care: We provide specialized care for birds, guinea pigs, rats, and other small animals, including health checks, nail and wing clipping, and avian DNA sexing.

• Microchipping: Microchipping is a permanent identification device that can be "read" by a microchip scanner and allows your pet to be easily identified.
• Puppy and Kitten Care: We understand the unique needs of newborn and young pets, providing expert advice on vaccinations, microchipping, and preventative measures.
