Our Practitioners

Our team of practitioners is led by Professor Chao Ji Xu, who has extensive training and experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Professor Xu practiced TCM in China for 15 years before migrating to Perth, where he opened Chinese Therapy Clinic in 1989. Since then, he has been practicing Chinese medicine and acupuncture in Perth for over 35 years.

In addition to Professor Xu, our team includes Ms. Pei Lin Ding, who has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine at Chinese Therapy Clinic since its opening in 1989. Ms. Ding has a special interest in Women's Health and has a wealth of experience in the treatment of infertility and weight loss.

All of our practitioners are registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (AHPRA) and are committed to providing the highest quality of care.

We have also had the privilege of treating a number of notable individuals, including WAFL Swan Districts Footballer Luke Adams, who sustained a severe head injury in 2011 and received acupuncture treatment from Professor Xu during his recovery.
