Poor Workmanship and Unprofessional Service
Sydney Wide Kitchens (SWK) received a slew of negative reviews from customers who experienced poor workmanship, unprofessional service, and financial difficulties. N. Nicolas, who rated the company 1 star, had a disastrous experience with SWK. They installed a kitchen that took 9 months to complete, with numerous issues including wrong stone installation, poor workmanship, and neglected requests. The customer had to fill in gaps with silicone to make the job look half-decent and felt pressured into paying 50% upfront.
The reviewer also accused the company's owner, Joe, of lying to Fair Trading and refusing to return calls or emails. Joe allegedly claimed the customer owed him $3,000 when the actual balance was $1,300. The customer ultimately had to take the matter to court.
