Our design philosophy focuses on the use of native plant species, which not only creates drought-resistant gardens and landscapes but also provides habitat and food for native wildlife while being low maintenance. With a wide variety of native cultivars available, we can achieve many different garden styles, including edible gardens, formal or traditional styles, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and resort-style tropical or rainforest gardens.

Our Story

Scribbly Gum Landscapes was established by Timothy Healy in October 2013. Tim's journey in the landscape industry began in 2003, working as a nurseryman and installing and maintaining gardens. He then undertook a Bachelor of Built Environment - Landscape Architecture, and after working for Tract Consultants, he decided to start his own business. Tim's love for nature, practical landscaping skills, propagation, and plant growing abilities, combined with his design and construction skills, give him the experience and tools to design, install, and maintain beautiful, functional, and sustainable landscapes.

Our Services

We offer a range of services, including landscape design consultations, concept plan development, detailed design and landscape construction, installation, and maintenance. Our design process begins with an initial site visit to discuss the client's requirements and vision for the space, followed by the development of a concept plan, which includes a general layout of the included features and an estimate of the cost of installation. We then move on to the detailed design and construction stage, where we present the client with a detailed quote for the construction.

Our installation services are performed within the client's time frame and budget, and we use only high-quality materials and equipment to ensure that the final product meets our high standards. We also offer maintenance services to keep your new landscape looking its best, including regular inspections, pruning, watering, and fertilizing.
