Unsatisfactory Experience
The review from Reuben Mansfield highlights a disappointing experience with Advanced Basics and their staff member, Ron Taylor. The customer contacted them due to flooding in their investment property, seeking a pest control service to inspect for termites. Ron spent less than an hour at the property, declining to inspect the damp areas likely to have termites, claiming he would return on a later date.
Inadequate Inspections and Errors
Despite being asked to inspect the damp areas, Ron did not do so, and the report he provided contained multiple errors. The invoice had incorrect information, including spelling errors in the customer's mother's name and describing a different house. The report also noted areas that could not be inspected due to limited access, which the customer believed was due to Ron's unwillingness to inspect those areas.
Inferior Service and Lack of Communication
The customer attempted to contact Ron to correct the errors on the invoice but were ignored. As a result, they are unable to claim the cost through insurance. The customer feels that Ron did not intend to provide any valuable service for the $359 they paid and that the experience was unsatisfactory.
