Who We Are
Bruno, Tamara, Nicolas, Natasha, and their beloved husky Opi are the friendly faces behind Daintree Siesta. Driven by a desire to share the wonders of the rainforest with responsible travellers, they transformed a once-private family property into a welcoming campground and cabin retreat.

Join Us at Daintree Siesta and Experience the Magic of the Rainforest!
The Daintree Siesta resort has received a multitude of positive reviews from guests, who praise the establishment for its beautiful location, excellent facilities, and friendly service. Many guests have enjoyed the camping experience and appreciated the villas' roomy and air-conditioned spaces. The showers were also noted as being particularly delightful. The resort's hosts were described as friendly and helpful, with guests appreciating the great food provided for evening meals. The convenient location between Ferry and Cape Tribulation was also highlighted, as well as the beautiful rainforest setting for both camping and exploration.
A couple of guests noted the clean and functional amenities, including a camp kitchen with great inclusions. Some guests were lucky enough to spot wild cassowaries and enjoyed the rainforest trails owned by the campsite.
However, not all experiences were positive. One guest noted an issue with the cleanliness of the amenities, particularly the smell of urine in the men's bathroom, and felt that the owners were not as friendly as those at other campgrounds. Another guest found the accommodation to be overpriced for what was offered, despite the friendly staff and large, clean rooms.
