A Family-Run Vineyard Crafting Distinctive Wines

Nestled amidst the pristine beauty of the Kent River, Moombaki exists as a small, family-run winery dedicated to crafting distinctive and handcrafted wines. Founded in 1997 by David Britten and Melissa Boughey, the vineyard has blossomed into a thriving enterprise guided by passion, expertise, and a deep respect for the land.

Our Journey

Driven by a desire for a simpler life and a closer connection to nature, David and Melissa uprooted their lives from bustling Perth and planted the first vines on their newly acquired property. With a young family in tow, they envisioned a life intertwined with the rhythms of the vine and the joy of craftsmanship.

Through the years, Moombaki has weathered industry challenges and embraced evolving trends, consistently producing award-winning wines that have captivated discerning palates. Their unwavering dedication and meticulous attention to detail have earned them the esteemed title of 5 Red Stars from esteemed wine critic James Halliday.
