Our History
J. Smith Motors commenced operations in December 1956, and since then, we have been committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service and expertise. Over the years, we have expanded our operations to include a range of services, including RACV Roadside Assistance, vehicle inspections, and certified air con repairs. Today, we are one of the longest-serving independent car centres in the Latrobe Valley area.
Our Services
At J. Smith Motors, we offer a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of our customers. Our experienced mechanics provide log book servicing, repairs, and maintenance to all makes and models of vehicles. We are also licensed VicRoads Roadworthiness testers for cars, motorcycles, and LPG vehicles, and we offer RACV pre-purchase inspections and other inspections for cars, 4WDs, and motorcycles.
In addition to our repair and maintenance services, we are also certified air con repairers, providing regassing, servicing, and major air conditioner repairs. We also offer off-site servicing for trucks and machinery, and our team is trained in child restraint fitting and advanced vehicle diagnostics.
