Our Story

Our journey began in 1977, when Sensei Edji established his first Shotokan karate club in Preston, Victoria. Since then, we've grown to become one of the most respected and renowned Karate schools in Australia, with clubs located in Thornbury, Alpine (Bright), and Mount Hawthorn (Perth, WA). Throughout our history, we've remained committed to upholding the traditional values and principles of Shotokan Karate, while adapting to the changing needs of our students and the community.

Our Services

We offer a range of Karate classes and programs designed to cater to different age groups and skill levels. Our adult classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate students, with separate advanced classes for those seeking a more challenging workout. For our younger students, we provide separate Karate classes for young children and teenagers, focusing on developing their motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, and agility in a fun and friendly environment.
