Kate's legal journey began with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from the University of Notre Dame. Following this, she completed an articled clerkship at Central Desert Native Title Services, where she developed a deep understanding of native title law and its application across vast areas of Western Australia. This experience cultivated her strong connection to the land and its traditional owners.
