Hastings Preschool & Long Day Care Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based centre that has been providing education and care for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children since 1986. Our centre is funded by the Department of Education, Australian Government, and is committed to building strong relationships with all First Nations People in our area.
Our Philosophy
Our centre complies with the National Quality Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework, and our service policies and procedures. We are inspired by the values of Reggio Emilia, where each child's intellectual, social, emotional, and moral potentials are carefully cultivated and guided. Our educators support adventure, child-led interests, and conscious risk-taking to enhance continuous learning and development. We acknowledge the impact of our global footprint and work towards making changes in practices that support a more sustainable future.

Overall Experience
