Welcome to our osteopathy clinic, located in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We are a team of dedicated health professionals who are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our clients. Our clinic is a welcoming and comfortable space where you can feel confident that you are receiving the best possible treatment.
Our business is based on the principles of osteopathy, which recognise the important link between the structure and function of the body. We believe that by addressing any imbalances in the body, we can help to promote healing and improve overall health and wellbeing.
Our team is led by Dr Maria Carey, a registered osteopath with over a decade of experience in the field. Maria has completed extensive postgraduate training in osteopathy for children and obstetrics, and is an active member of the Melbourne Children's Clinic. She is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their optimal health.
In addition to osteopathy, we offer a range of other services to support your health and wellbeing. These include myotherapy, advanced cupping, dry needling, moxibustion, cranial sacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, TMJ issues, massage treatments, rehab and corrective exercises, and fascial taping.
Our clinic is staffed by a team of experienced and qualified health professionals, including osteopaths, myotherapists, and reception staff. We are all committed to providing a high level of care and support to our clients, and we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment in our clinic.
Our Services
Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Osteopaths use a variety of techniques, including massage, stretching, and joint manipulation, to help relieve pain and improve mobility.
At our clinic, we treat a wide range of conditions, including:
- Back and neck pain
- Headaches and migraines
- Joint pain and inflammation
- Sports injuries
- Pregnancy-related pain
- Postural issues
- Respiratory conditions
- Digestive problems
In addition to osteopathy, we offer a range of other services to support your health and wellbeing. These include:
- Myotherapy: a form of manual therapy that focuses on the treatment of soft tissue dysfunction, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
- Advanced cupping: a technique that uses suction cups to help improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain.
- Dry needling: a technique that uses fine needles to stimulate trigger points in the body, helping to relieve pain and improve mobility.
- Moxibustion: a technique used in traditional Chinese medicine that involves burning a herb called mugwort to help improve circulation and reduce inflammation.
- Cranial sacral therapy: a gentle form of manual therapy that focuses on the bones of the head, spine, and sacrum, helping to relieve tension and improve overall health.
- Manual lymphatic drainage: a gentle form of massage that helps to stimulate the lymphatic system, improving circulation and helping to reduce inflammation.
- TMJ issues: treatment for issues related to the temporomandibular joint, which connects the jawbone to the skull.
- Massage treatments: a range of massage techniques to help relieve tension, reduce stress, and improve overall health.
- Rehab and corrective exercises: personalised exercise programs to help improve mobility, strength, and overall health.
