James Harvie Photography

I am James Harvie, a dedicated and professional wedding photographer based on the Mornington Peninsula. With over two decades of experience since 2001, I have honed my craft to create timeless, fine-art wedding imagery that captures the essence of each couple's special day. My work is deeply influenced by the natural beauty of the Peninsula, which I seamlessly integrate into my photography. As a Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and a recipient of multiple local and international awards, including Victorian Photographer of the Year 2017, I bring both expertise and passion to every project. My services extend beyond weddings to include landscape photography and conducting photography workshops on the Mornington Peninsula.

I also contribute to the industry by serving as a judge for AIPP photographic competitions in Victoria and Tasmania. My commitment to excellence is reflected in my portfolio, which showcases weddings across diverse locations such as greater Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, and the Dandenong Ranges. I prioritize understanding each couple's unique vision to deliver personalized, artistic results that exceed expectations. My dedication to continuous improvement has earned recognition in Top 10 Melbourne Wedding Photographers, while maintaining loyalty to my roots in the Mornington Peninsula. Every image I create aims to preserve authentic moments that couples will cherish for generations.
