Budget Bin Hire is a family-owned and operated waste management business based in Melbourne, established in 1987 by Tony and Dorothy Preece. Since its humble beginnings, the company has experienced significant growth, expanding its fleet of trucks and the range of bins to cater to the needs of our customers. In 2009, Simon (Tony and Dorothy's son) joined the business, followed by Carla (their daughter) in 2011. Today, the trio continues to run Budget Bin Hire, committed to providing expert advice and excellent service in rubbish removal.

Our Service

At Budget Bin Hire, we believe that great service entails more than just delivering and removing a bin from the site. We are dedicated to:

  • Providing professional advice regarding our bin and truck range to suit your specific waste removal requirements.
  • Offering a 2-hour delivery window advised at booking and prompt removal of the bin on the requested date.
  • Communicating effectively with our clients, addressing any unforeseen issues before delivery, on-site, or after removal.
  • Treating our clients respectfully and professionally from the time of booking until the bin is removed and the invoice provided.

Our service operates from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturdays from 6:30 am to 11:00 am.

Our Pricing

Unlike many other companies, Budget Bin Hire provides upfront pricing with no hidden costs. Our pricing includes:

  • The bin size and materials being placed in the bin.
  • The length of time the bin is to remain on site.
  • Relevant council permit fees should the bin be placed outside of your property.
  • Additional fees for materials that incur an extra charge.
  • Fees for on-site cancellation or rescheduling.

Our Trucks & Bins

Budget Bin Hire boasts a broad range of trucks and bin combinations in the industry, including:

  • Trucks with a gross vehicle mass ranging from 9.5 to 32.5 tonnes.
  • Bins available in 14 different sizes, from 2m3 to 31m3.
  • The ability to carry large bins on small trucks, facilitating tight access jobs.
  • Low side walk-in 3m3 and 4m3 metre bins for easy loading.
  • OH&S crane bins for high rise apartment developments.

Our Waste Transfer Station

Budget Bin Hire is a green-friendly company. We take the waste removed from your site to our transfer station, where it is sorted using a combination of machinery and manual separation. As much as possible, recyclable materials are separated from non-recyclable waste. We currently recycle approximately 70% of the waste processed at our transfer station.
