Winburndale Vineyard and Winery is a family-owned and operated boutique vineyard located in the Central Ranges of New South Wales, near the locality of Glanmire, and approximately 15 minutes east of Bathurst. Our vineyard benefits from the ideal climate, landscape, and slopes of the region, which enable us to grow superior grapes and create exceptional wines with soft tannins. The vineyard is situated at 116 Saint Anthony's Creek Road, Glanmire, NSW 2795.
Our Wines
At Winburndale Vineyard and Winery, we believe that the key to producing fine and special wines is to start with a special site. We take great care of our vineyard, using hand-pruning and minimal chemicals and fertilizers. Our grapes are hand-picked just as they ripen, ensuring the highest quality fruit. Our red wine-making process is straightforward, utilizing open fermenters and hand-plunging to achieve excellent color and flavor development, along with fine, soft tannins. We use similar techniques for our white wines. Our current wine selection includes Fontana Cabernet Sauvignon, Remnant Shiraz, Pick Pan and Shovel Shiraz, Lost & Found Shiraz Cabernet, Golden Gully Pinot Gris, Little Wonder Chardonnay, and Rosie's Rose.
Visit Our Cellar Door
We invite you to visit our cellar door and taste our wines while touring our vineyards. Our vineyards are located in an ideal location, where all the elements, including climate, soil, landscape, temperature, rainfall distribution, sunlight, slopes, and drainage, come together to produce the perfect grape. Our winery and cellar door are easy to find, and we welcome visitors for vineyard tours and tastings. Our cellar door is open every Saturday for walk-ins between 10 am and 3 pm.
