Transforming Your Outdoor Space, One Gate at a Time

Pilates and Yoga have been my passion for over 35 years, and it all started when I took up Yoga in 1975 after a high board diving accident. My osteopath recommended Yoga to help me recover from injuries to my neck and lower back, and since then, I have dedicated myself to studying and teaching these techniques. I have had the privilege of working with individuals from various sports backgrounds, which has enriched my knowledge and allowed me to tailor exercises to suit individual's physical health.

For the last 28 years, I have specialized in Pilates and have experienced firsthand the benefits it brings. It has stabilized my condition and improved my life, and I am eager to pass on my knowledge and passion to help others. I am a firm believer in educating my clients, and I find great joy in helping people help themselves. My approach to Pilates is straightforward, practical, and fun. I offer both group and one-on-one sessions, tailoring exercises to suit each individual's needs.

I have worked with various organizations, including the Marriott Hotel Health Club, Leisureplan, and the College of Surgeons. My clients have been referred to me for remedial exercise rehabilitation, weight loss, long-term periodization to help improve their sporting performance and general health. I am a Yoga Therapist, registered with Reps, (Register of Exercise Professionals) and Fitness Australia as a Personal Trainer, Gym, Freestyle Instructor, Older Adults Trainer, Yoga, and Pilates Teacher.

Pilates & Bodywork

Pilates is an anti-aging exercise system that tones and strengthens the muscles without the impact on joints. It is a balance of strength and flexibility that focuses on postural alignment, core stability, and isolating muscles to rebalance the whole body. Pilates helps clients find better alignment and freedom of movement, making it the perfect exercise system for the 21st Century. It works as an antidote to days spent hunched over a computer, driving back and forth to Perth, and carrying children or heavy bags.

Pilates addresses the mind and body, working from the inside out. Every exercise focuses on the powerhouse to protect the back, correct posture and help bring the body into balance, decreasing injury and pain. Pilates can be performed in many different ways, ranging from Matwork Classes to Studio Pilates. Matwork Group Classes are an enjoyable, affordable way to learn correct technique, suitable for uninjured people. Studio Pilates Lessons are highly personalized and are designed to suit your body using highly specialized Balanced Body studio equipment.
