At Whale Bins, we are innovators in waste management on the Sunshine Coast. As a privately owned business, we operate a state-of-the-art, purpose-built recycling resource recovery centre serving South East Queensland. Since 2000, we have been providing the greater Sunshine Coast with efficient and competitively priced total waste management solutions.

Our Story

Whale Bins began operations as a husband/wife business in 2000, with a single truck and 28 bins. Over the years, we have grown to employ over twenty people, and our combined businesses have distinguished themselves in the market by providing a superior service to customers, utilising modern, well-maintained equipment that performs its functions efficiently and effectively.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive waste management service that meets the environmental goals of our clients. We work closely with our clients to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill, and our commitment to a better environment includes a continuous effort to improve our practices. Through our resource recovery program, we extract timber, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminium, concrete, bricks and blocks, cardboard, paper, and plastics for recycling.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including skip bins, hook bins, crane bins, and resource recovery solutions. Our skip bins come in various sizes, including 2m3, 3m3, 4m3, 6m3, and 15m3, to cater to different waste removal needs. We also provide Fills and Fills as a product of our resource recovery services.
