At the heart of our approach is a deep appreciation for the natural environment and a commitment to sustainable design principles. Notable Projects

We are proud of our portfolio of completed projects, which include a number of award-winning buildings that have been recognised for their design excellence and innovation. Here are some of our notable projects:

Topper's Mountain Wines

Located in the picturesque Northern NSW town of Tingha, Topper's Mountain Wines is a boutique winery that has been designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. Featuring a cellar door, function space, and accommodation, the building is constructed from rammed earth and local timbers, with a roof that is designed to harvest rainwater and provide shading. The building has been designed to maximise natural ventilation and daylight, resulting in a comfortable and energy-efficient interior.

Armidale Refuge Prospect

Winner of the 2018 NSW Country Division Architecture Awards, Small Project category, the Armidale Refuge Prospect is a small garden pavilion that has been designed to provide a sheltered space for people to sit, gather, and eat. Constructed from brick and timber, the building features a simple palette of materials that is elegantly detailed and poetic in its design. The building is designed to breathe, with hit and miss brick, fine timber slats, and paired timber posts allowing the building to moderate the sun and provide a place in the lee of the wind.

Coonabarabran Cantilever Masonic Hall

This project involved the renovation of the upper three levels of a brick house in Port Hacking. The work opened the main living areas out to the view, and created more outdoor living spaces for the family. The building features a cantilevered masonry structure that provides a striking visual feature and allows for uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape.

Glebe House

Located in inner-city Sydney, Glebe House is a small, energy-efficient terrace-style house that has been designed to maximise solar gain and provide a sense of spaciousness on a small site. Constructed from recycled bricks and featuring a minimalist interior design, the house is a contemporary take on the traditional terrace house.

Sustainability

At the heart of our approach to architecture is a deep commitment to sustainability. We believe that every building should be designed with consideration for its impact on the planet, and with a view to minimising its carbon footprint. Through the use of energy-efficient materials, passive solar design, and innovative construction techniques, we strive to create buildings that are not only beautiful and functional but also environmentally responsible.

Our approach to sustainability is holistic and encompasses all aspects of the building design, from the selection of materials through to the integration of renewable energy systems. We work with our clients to develop a sustainability strategy that is tailored to the unique needs of the project, and that seeks to maximise energy efficiency, reduce water consumption, and minimise waste.
