Spiral Gallery Co-operative, located in the heart of Bega, is a not-for-profit artists-run cooperative that has been serving the regional arts community since 1997. Established with the aim of supporting contemporary art practice, the gallery has grown to become one of the icons of the Bega Valley, providing a professional exhibition space for a wide range of artists and fostering a vibrant arts scene in the region.
As an artist-run gallery, Spiral Gallery Co-operative is committed to promoting and supporting arts practice in the Bega Valley region. The gallery provides opportunities for both established and emerging artists to exhibit and sell their work, creating a dynamic and diverse exhibition program that showcases contemporary and innovative art practice.
The gallery's exhibition program includes solo shows, community group shows, and exhibitions by the Spiral artists themselves. Through this program, the gallery has played a major role in the community by providing a platform for artistic dialogue and exchange, and by fostering a culture of informal mentoring and artistic growth.
