Gaming Room
Our Gaming room features 40 of the latest gaming machines, including the latest Lightning & DragonCash Machines. We have a Ticket in Ticket Out system operation on our machines, which our friendly staff can assist you with. To add to your experience, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, and soft drink for all customers, as well as delicious snacks. With exceptional service & friendly staff, we're the place to be.
Sports Bar
Enjoy comfortable lounge seating while watching the game on one of our large TV screens broadcasting a selection of live sports at all times. You won't miss a minute of the action with full access to our TAB facilities. We'll serve up some of your favourite pub classics to accompany the huge beverage selection we have - an enormous range of ice-cold beer on tap, not to mention our wine, cider, and spirit lists. Raise a glass with mates while relaxing in the best of Davoren Park, or stop in for a quick drink on your way home from work.
Accommodation
Conveniently located close to the newly developed Playford Alive Precinct & Elizabeth Shopping Centre, we are delighted to now offer accommodation, with recently renovated guest rooms and breakfast included in the room rate. In addition to complimentary breakfast, each guest room features air conditioning, bar fridge, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and access to free WiFi. The Tavern's family-friendly atmosphere includes an indoor kids playground next to a large bistro with something to satisfy everyone's appetite as well as weekly meal specials.
Playford Tavern - Mixed Reviews on Food and Service
The Playford Tavern has received a mixed bag of reviews recently. Positive feedback highlights excellent service, delicious food, and great value for money. For instance, Tracy Russell gave a 5-star rating, praising the staff for their outstanding service and accommodating a large family group last minute. Nadia Croser also rated her experience 5 stars, appreciating the moist and tender schnitty, along with the excellent customer service. Keryl Lodge was extremely pleased with the friendly staff, delicious "Masterchef Standard" food, and spotless rooms during her 3-night stay.
On the other hand, some customers had less than stellar experiences. Jess Kraft gave a 1-star rating, citing rude staff and issues with their meals. Lany Baker was also disappointed, noting that her family had to wait over an hour for their meals, which were either half-cooked or heated incorrectly. Michael Eales rated his experience 4 stars, mentioning good food but issues with missing an entree and not being able to apply a discount.
