Whitehead Plumbing is a proudly family-owned and operated business that has been delivering excellence in plumbing services for over 60 years. The Brittain family has continued this tradition, building on the strong foundation laid by the Whitehead family. Our team is renowned for their expertise in all areas of commercial plumbing, and we are proud to service some of Victoria's largest multi-site organisations.

Our Services

We offer a broad range of domestic plumbing and gas fitting services, and our plumbers are reliable, with fast turn-around times on jobs. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality outcomes for our commercial and domestic clients, and we are committed to ensuring that every job is completed on time and to the highest standard.

Our services include hot water services, gas fitting services, drainage services, boiling water units, roof plumbing, CCTV pipe inspection, backflow prevention, and thermostatic valves. We are licensed thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) testers, and we are committed to ensuring that all TMV work is carried out in accordance with the new specialised class of work that includes the repair, alteration, maintenance, and testing of a TMV.

Our domestic plumbers service the Melbourne Metropolitan Area and Mornington Peninsula. For commercial clients, we can service all of Victoria.

Meet the Team

Chris Brittain, Director of Whitehead Plumbing, commenced his plumbing apprenticeship in 1998 and achieved his qualification as a registered plumber in 2002. Chris joined the family business, Brittain Plumbing, in 2001 and was an important part of the business growth in 2004 when the family purchased Whitehead Plumbing. In 2011 Chris became a Director of both businesses and has added to his plumbing qualification a number of other accreditation and certifications.

Chris is a well-respected cricketer on the Mornington Peninsula and has represented Victoria at the under 19 level and played at the Australian Country Championships. Chris has won 4 MPCA league Best and Fairest awards and currently plays for Baxter Cricket Club. Chris believes that his experiences in team environments have allowed him to further develop his skills as a Director and leader in the business.

Adam Hill, General Manager of Whitehead Plumbing, is a well-regarded identity in the plumbing industry with over 30 years' experience in a multitude of roles. Adam's experience has helped him develop a broad spectrum of industry knowledge having worked in the trade, in retail, in business administration, as well as project supply logistics and of course management.

Adam has an extensive knowledge of plumbing products and systems and maintains a strong working relationship with product suppliers. Adam has been part of the team at Whitehead Plumbing for over 5 years, with much of his focus targeted towards project and contract delivery. Adam has strong views on what it takes to deliver great customer service and his mission is to ensure that the Whitehead team always provide quality service to their large and diverse client base.
