Embracing life's moments, one frame at a time.

Joadja Estate, the oldest vineyard and winery in the Southern Highlands, is a testament to the enduring legacy of wine-making in the region. The property, located at 110 Joadja Road, Berrima NSW 2577, is a picturesque expanse of verdant vineyards and rustic architecture that has been producing exquisite wines for over three decades. The winery's rich history began in 1983 when Kim Moginie and his wife, Francis McCormack, planted the vineyard, eventually building the winery and selling their produce through the cellar door. In 2016, the estate was acquired by a young couple, Siobhan Maloy and Matt Toomey, along with Siobhan's parents, Maureen and Paul Maloy, who were eager to continue the legacy that Joadja Estate had established.

The property's history is as captivating as the wines it produces. According to legend, Kim Moginie initially resisted selling his land to a vineyard grower who had set up camp outside his house. However, the vineyard grower's persistence paid off, and Moginie eventually sold him the land, leading to the establishment of the vineyard and winery. Since then, Joadja Estate has been a symbol of the Southern Highlands' wine-making tradition and a significant contributor to the region's burgeoning wine tourism industry.
